Could someone who has looked at the recent MGM releases of Curse of
the Pink Panther and Son of the Pink Panther please tell me if these
are DVD-5 (single layer) or DVD-9 (dual layer) discs?
If anyone reading doesn't know how to tell by looking for the double
set of manufacturer marks around the hub, if you put the disc in a
DVD-ROM drive, right click Properties on the VIDEO_TS, please post
roughly how many Gigabytes it says.
I ask solely because I made a vow not to buy single layer discs any
more, and I can't find any reviews of these DVDs. While I'm bothered
by no extras, I'm even more bothered when a studio releases a DVD-5
with a low bitrate when they could at least spend some extra pennies
to give a higher bitrate transfer on a DVD-9.
