I've had HP computers and Compaq computers and
finally swore never again to buy either. What sweet
 harmony when HP bought Compaq.

Now I stick to Dell. Not perfect, but a lot better.

We were speaking above about how it's as cheap
to buy a new printer as new inks sometimes --
well, my wife's computer was running Win98
and I wanted to "upgrade" (sarcasm/irony) to WinXP.

WinXP would have cost about $100. For about
$260, I got a brand new Dell -- no monitor, but
with DVD, etc., and with WinXP. So, a net cost
for the new Dell of $160. Unbelievable.
