Cue sheets tell where tracks should start inside the FILE, plus album and track titles,
 album and track performers.
 Take the following cue sheet:

 PERFORMER "Tina Turner"
 TITLE "Live in Amsterdam CD2"
FILE "Tina Turner - Live in Amsterdam CD2.mp3" MP3
 TRACK 01 AUDIO
TITLE "Better Be Good to Me"
 INDEX 01 00:00:00
 TRACK 02 AUDIO
 TITLE "Addicted to Love"
 INDEX 01 05:49:00
 TRACK 03 AUDIO
 TITLE "The Best"
 INDEX 01 10:59:40
 TRACK 04 AUDIO
TITLE "What's Love Got to Do with It"
 ..
 ..
 ..
("Tina Turner - Live in Amsterdam CD2.mp3" is the second half of a live show I ripped from
 DVD)

All I have to do is load the cue sheet into CDRWin, which then uses cue sheet's info and
the mp3 file to burn an AUDIO CD as one continuous stream, create a table of contents with
pointers to starting positions, and also burn CD-text. Thus the resulting audio CD can
play without any gaps and allow for direct access to tracks which are also properly named.

I use Roxio, Sony Extreme, RecordNow when cue sheets are not needed.
