Here's the story, simple as it is....
It all started when I went to visit a friend in California...
I knew it was going to be "one of those days" when I was told the
airport to land in was named the "Charles M. Schultz Airport." Now
for those who don't know, Charles Schultz wrote the comic strip
"Peanuts" for many years, and the thought of going to the Charlie
Brown airport was a bit strange. I thought it was a joke, but there
it was, just as it showed on the maps and it was long enough to
accomdodate my plane, good thing too as otherwise I would have had to
go to Sacramento or Oakland as SFO doesn't usually have un-scheduled
landing slots available (I hate driving a car in USA, especially
California).
Back at the house, a lot of organic medicine was shared from growers
in the Sonoma County area resulting in a 'less than logical' state of
mind for all. A bit of the local wines were also tasted, perhaps in
excess. We got the computer working again and installed Agent. I'm
not too sure of what happened after that but it appears the Giganews
claim to retain text groups for 760+ days was put to the test. A
challenge of planting a response to a random post made a couple years
ago was made, and apparently proved to be impossible. Don M. got mad
because he thought we insulted a poster known as Secret, but nobody
here could connect the reply to that person. It wasn't really a reply
to anybody, a bit like a ghost reply as we knew a reply post would get
linked back to the original, but then Giganews phuched it all up by
planting it at the local date, ditching the link to the original post.
Then it got worse.... A call was made to Giganews to have this thread
removed... They phuched it up again by removing the post from 2003 we
responded to, but left this one... a lot of good that did.
I like the home-grown crops of this area, but too much weird stuff
goes on while sampling it.. (the computer wasn't the half of it).
yup, I'm taking some of this home with me.
I noticed a lot of angry people here.
Why are people in California always so angry ? Don't they like their
so-called freedom? or is it just for them personally and nobody else?
They are just so quick with the temper thing, and 'how dare you do
that!' much like little robots looking for malfunctions in other
little robots.
