Thanks for the update. I used a modified Host file and it did get me going
but there wasn't as much results from searches and a lot of uploads were
timing out...
(although all the uploads that timed out were from people with 0 files to
share and they were all trying to upload the same songs - so they strike me
as a bit suspicious and I wonder if they are actually being blocked by
PeerGuardian? But this side ramble is besides the point!)
... sooo, I downloaded the .dll patch as suggested but now I cant connect
as
a Primary or Secondary. My computer uses Windows XP and I have a T1
connection (I think - it's 1.1M Broadband) and I used to connect as a
Primary. So what I am wondering is how do I change the .dll file back to
the original which I stupidly replaced with the patch instead of renaming
it
like my gut instinct told me to?!!
Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered to me.
LONG LIVE WINMX AND DEATH TO THE RIAA BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!
