Okay, windmills I can understand, those having a practical application and
all. But wooden shoes? Sorry, not so much... I mean, what possible
rationale could there be for walking on lumber?
Mind you, if this idea was hatched in the precursor to Amsterdam's famed
smokey cafes (the basement of a windmill?), then the whole hilarity factor
of whittling yourself a pair of shoes becomes apparent.
