113 minutes? but what was the actual size of the file?

A standard CD-R can hold a SVCD compatible MPEG2 file close to 700Mb which to my
memory means something like 40 minutes in length at a bitrate of 2,3 Mbits/s,
while the DVD-R using the same format MPEG2/DVD would be capable of holding upto
120 minutes in length on a standard singlesided DVD (4.7Gb) at a bitrate of appr.
4.8MBit/s
