There is no evidence of any other person. Other than an occasional
interview with Slyck, there is no contact with the outside world. He makes
it hard to even send him e-mails, to which he does read, but never replies
to. No effort is made to have a fancy web site. If there was a second
person just what are they doing?
As for part-time, this comes from the sporadic nature of upgrades. If a
programmer was working on it full time there wouldn't be that long gap
between upgrades. And since the program provides him with almost no income
(save a few dollars for ads on the winmx.com site) one would expect him to
be doing something else for income.
The best software comes from single programmers. A good example is the
ripping software from poikosoft.com. He makes it clear that it is only
himself. He does work on it full time, and because of this there are
frequent updates.
