I tend to disagree with you here, George. It may be because of the simple reason I
am translating your words back and forth between English and Swedish, and the
underlaying meaning is clouded by doing this.
IMO, WinMX is as much a trade/share device as any of the other P2P softwares
you'll find. In some ways, i.e. compared to DC++, even nicer :-) I mean, if you
would try find a DC++ hub that allows you entrance without at least 5Gb to share
and alllowing connection below DSL, you'd be lucky.
So, I tend to disagree and say that WinMX are both share and trade.
Share in the sense, you have something you are willing to share to the rest of
the community and also expecting you'll find someone who's sharing something of
interest for you.
Trade in the sense, if you have someone d/l from you and you choose to browse this
persons share and find something of interest and start downloading, then this
behaviour, to me, translates to do a trade.
