Although they claim that they look for the WinMX folder to install in,
it obviously missed mine in the well-hidden d:/winmx, because it
installed to C:/Program Files/PIE Patch. And once again, it removed all
entries in the hosts file that weren't connected to it, in the same
manner that the dll just destroys the hosts file.

That said it works fine and connects quickly, so I can't complain too much.

It's sad that factional fighting has broken out between two groups of
people with supposedly identical aims, both of which appear to include
members with megalomaniac tendencies. Since the DLL failed so soon after
its appearance many users have reverted to the 'hosts fix' of some sort,
so I guess KM and his followers are smarting a bit.
