No it doesn't. It stripped out everything below the mx stuff and *does
not put it back*. I have a load of adware stuff in mine probably made
redundant by the PG2 i've just (frighteningly) insatlled.

I say that because the hosts file is reduced to the minimal:
127.0.0.1 localhost

Not destroyed then, decimated definitely.
