The ultimate goal of those who produce is that they receive money EVERY
time some schmuck consumes product. Don't fool yourselves. This means
that they want remuneration in proportion to the number of times you
consume their product. This means that you will aqcuire DVD free, but
pay every time you use it. This is the goal. Under this regime why
should you ever own a disc? Just hand over your hard earned money and
watch once. Not enough? Pay again. Hell, I'm not even sure it's wrong,
it might result in better entertainment.
Just ... never forget that you can go and talk to people for free. And
the less it happens, the more people will want it to happen.
