Yes, that would work, but AFAIK Napster To Go charges you a fee for each track you burn to CD. And when you burn the CD, the quality will be the same as that of the WMA. So when you rip the CD to MP3, you will have slightly reduced quality.
You have to ask yourself whether its worth it, to subscribe to the service, download the tracks which don't sound great to begin with, burn them to CD, rip them back to MP3 further degrading the quality...... instead of just buying the CD's by the artists you like.
2) They get put on your hard drive for you to play. They will only play in Windows Media Player as far as I know.
