What do you mean you "put [your] mp3 backup disks [sic] on winamp"? Do you mean you added the MP3's to the Playlist window? That doesn't actually copy the MP3's onto the computer. It just means that Winamp will play them from wherever they are, in the order they're listed. If you remove the disc, then it can't play them.
