My daughters school recently asked me to convert some of their video
into DVD (which is a snap, the equipment is digital and I've already
mastered the technique). My question is, if they ask me to put a song
on the menu screen of the DVD, I know it would be treading dangerously
on some copyright laws... What is the proper procedure to seek out
rights from an artist or whatever to be able to use a song on a menu
screen?
