Try with WinAmp. Change output plug-in to "Nullsoft Disk Writer" and configure it to PCM
format, 44,100Hz, 16 bit, stereo if your goal is to record it later as audio CD.
Otherwise choose lower settings to produce smaller wav file. Next play your midi file;
WinAmp should convert to wav and save to disk as it plays (you hear no sound). Change
output plug-in back to WaveOut or DirectSound as it was before.
