thanks again. I´ll give Foobar a try and see what happens there.
To answer Ted´s Q: yes, my songtitles always have a prefixed track
number, if they are taken from an album. If it´s an isolated song I
don´t use track numberings.
What do you think about this theory:
I number my tracks in the same fields as I use for the track titles.
I.e. "Metallica - And justice for all - 06 One" and I used the Tagmaker
software to implement this. However, the existing tags (some of the
songs already had ver.1 or something) sometimes suggest otherwise.
Could Winamp possibly really look at a track number field when loading
music?
