In the first quarter of next year (2006) we will be releasing our
search engine called Element. Even though this is an engine focusing
primarily on XML documents, it will also be able to index MP3s along
with other media formats. Pretty much it will emulate the meta
information of these files as xml contexts so you can search by title,
artist, album, year, and comments and find the files you are looking
for.
You can then turn around and expose the search interface to your local
intranet or to the public on your external web page.
