According to Wikpedia, they actually stopped production earlier this
year, with the idea that stocks would be largely depleted by this past
fall. Ipods don't seem to stay in stock for very long. I would have
easily gone for a 4gb mini over the 2gb nano - I saw demos of both at
the Manhattan CompUSA on Sunday and while both looked cool, the fact
that they were priced about the same meant that one had the choice of
paying for either size or capacity. Since they're both small, I don't
see the advantage of the nano - but it's a moot point because so few
minis seem available.
