No, idiot. When you have to reinstall Windows on a computer, iPod will
recognize it as an entirely new computer and require that you delete
eveyrthing on the iPod before using it with the new computer. This is
probably what the OP is doing (because there would be no issue if he was
just directly transferring everything including the system, from one HD
to the other).
