When you buy a car, the manufacturers claims to it's fuel consumtion
will often be different to reality. This applies to anything you buy.
Anything to do with computers falls into this catagory, for example a
100gb hard-drive will turn out to be 95gb or less. There's no clear cut
definition of any computer storage, particualarly when you enter into
compressed storage. Companies use this to their advatage, don't feel
ripped off though, whichever device you chose to buy, the claims would
have been bullshit too. In layman's terms, honesty = loss of sales...
