Are the movie companies really this stupid?
They are earning a lot of money from the sales of DVDs and
from what you are saying, it still isn't enough money for them.
They stand a very good chance of destroying this market
if they make it difficult or too expensive for people to view
a movie at home or anywhere they choose.
Media options are becoming more portable all of the time
and now you indicate that they want to tie this new system
to an internet connection. This will drastically reduce the
number of people will to buy into the new format. I have
2 HDTVs and I do not want a system that has to phone
home when I want to watch a movie. They can keep their
players and HD movies if they do this.
