Apple, iTunes, they know what you're playing...

"Apple Computer Inc. has altered its iTunes software after users raised privacy concerns
over a new spy-like song-recommendation feature in the music jukebox program..."

If they had any regards for user privacy, they wouldn't release such "features" in the
first place.

<quote>
"Apple does not keep any information related to the contents of your music library."
<end quote>
IMO, they can keep information related to songs you're playing without contradicting
themselves, that is, they can collect information without tapping the contents of your
music library ...

I still haven't figured out why iTunes needs 42 characters for its iTunes_CDDB_IDs comment
in ID3 tags when Gracenote's CDDB_IDs need only 8.
