WMA lossless is PCM with basic compression like RAR/etc., so that
would not add any loss of quality (the stream itself was presumably
compressed, though, so they will be second-generation MP3s, in
effect).

Most would use VBR, rather than a high constant bit rate. You'd have
to see for yourself whether your ears could perceive a difference,
with your own equipment, between one bit rate and another.
