I only mentioned looking at version 3 because you said that version 1
is the latest build, when it's clearly not. :) I thought you'd like
to know that there are two more versions beyond yours, and maybe the
problem you're having is fixed in the later versions. Like you said,
though, it used to work, so it should work again.

Have you tried the 'registered user' support options at the Cyberlink
web site? Have you tried doing a System Restore back to a date when
you know this program worked correctly? Can you be more specific about
when the program hangs? Is it only hanging if you select SVCD as your
output format? Are VCD and DVD formats working ok? When it hangs, is
your CPU utilization pegged at 100% (because of this program)?
