No, we did what we were authorized to do by the UN in 1991 which was
remove SH from Kuwait. In the treaty that SH signed, he agreed to abide
by UN resolutions concerning him. His breaking of these resolutions
(along with an assasination attempt of Bush 1) was all the justification
needed for this Military action. SH's breaking of any post Kuwait
resoltions gave the US the legal right to go and oust him.

It's not his job to tell good intel from Bad. By the time it reaches the
Pres, all the bad intel should be filtered out. Now, I submit to you
that the intel was not bad. That in the 14 month "rush" to war, SH had
ample time to move WMD's out of his country or otherwise dispose of
them. But none of that matters anyway, SH was interfering with
inspections of his weapons facilities which is a breaking of UN
resolutions giving the US the authority to go to war. If SH had no WMD's
ever, he would have had no problem with allowing inspectors full access,
he didn't.

Actively hostile? Where do you come up with this utter bullshit? Oh
yeah, reading books from New York Times reporters, that's where. Please
use books by people like Johnston and Krugman for entertainment value
only.
You are right about a lot of Republicans though, as far as Goverment
growing, the Republicans are like the Democrats of 20-30 years ago. I
vote Libertarian at times but as far as big races the choice is voting
for someone driving this country into the ground at 90 miles an hour
(Democrats)or at 55 miles an hour (many Republicans). Bush may not be
everything I want in his growing the government and calling the Dems on
thier bullshit but he was 100 million times better then Kerry or Gore.

It doesn't work if the company doesn't have the extra capital to
outlay(and many do not), so it reduces the work force (I've seen this
firsthand).
You probabaly live in Alaska. I used to live in Anchorage, Alaska,
everything is priced higher in Alaska then it is in the lower 48. So is
the minimum wage. If the minumum wage is on a par with the rest of the
prices, it does less damage but it still reduces jobs. There is no way
around it.
Anyway, I'm done with this. You take care now.
