Last time the rises were due to Gordon Brown's stealth taxes, this time
they're primarily due to demand for oil exceeding supply...
significantly so until the US oil rigs and refineries in Louisiana come
back online.
Protests aren't going to magically produce more oil, and they're
unlikely to reduce taxes when public spending is going up.
