TAlK about the blind leading the partialy sited.

If it is a SECAM only vhs player the PAL tape would play in Black and White.
If it is a PAL compatible player and a SECAM only TV then the tape will play
in BLACK and WHITE.
If it is a PAL compatible player and a PAL compatible TV then it will play
in colour.

The standards concerning sound etc are all redundant as the tape is in VHS
format . that means the sound is in the correct location on the tape and the
625 luminance signal is ccir standard and fully compatable with a PAL black
and white the only queation is the ability to decode the colour. so the
answer is you will get a good playback but it may be only in B&W but may
well be in colour.
