Some hi-fi buffs swear blind that coax is better than optical, but I've
never been told why that is. However, you have already selected the happy
option so stick with it!

The MAIN thing, with either, is to use a decent quality cable. And when I
say there is no real difference, I mean using "like for like" quality
connectors.

Optical is more fun though - showing your mates that the sound for the movie
they are about to enjoy is travelling as light... pull the end out of the AV
receiver and show them the read glow.... people love it!
