Finally moving house and getting a dining room - read CINEMA!!
Problem is that I love my PJ but it's got a long-throw lens and the new room
is only 148" long - that's the shortest throw distance for my screen size.
So, I WAS looking at mounting the PJ in the toilet behind the cinema (boxed
in, of course) with all the hot air extraction etc THEN the penny dropped.
I intend to mount the PJ in the far back corner of the room, facing 90
degrees to the screen then mount a good mirror at 45 degrees to it and
therefore bounce the light onto the screen. I've tried it here and it works
a treat but when I install it, I want the best mirror glass for 100 that I
can get and find a stable way of mounting it on the rear wall or hanging it
from the ceiling to minimise shaking.
Any ideas?
Rolo
