My ex-wife bought Region 2 'Wonder Woman' Second Season DVD boxset. And then
told me of some problems. I helped exchange the faulty sets for replacement.
She watched them then told me that they still have faults. I exchanged
again, and still faults. So I asked her, this time, let me watch them and
see what the problem is. She noted the disc number, episode number, and the
timings of where the faults are. I watched them and guess what? No faults at
all!!!
Do anyone know anything about this?
To give more details: The Season 2 Wonder Woman discs are the double side
type. She have a TV-DVD combination set, called Crown. She haven't the
foggiest what model it is! I have a Philips DVDR70 DVD Recorder. In case it
had something to do with the players? No matter how many times I exchanged
the set, the fault always seem to be with disc 3 and disc 4, and usually the
same episodes!
According to her. What happens is that while playing the episode, it kinds
of like the action plays as normal then suddenly kinds of slows down and
moves so jerky. I haven't seen it, but from the way she tells me, it would
kind of like say watching a video clip on a slow computer. I asked if there
were any blocky shapes appearing somewhere, and she tells me there were
none. When I played them on my DVD, there were nothing wrong at all, it
plays fine.
The only thing I can think of is that it's her machine that's at fault,
maybe it could not cope with the disc. I plan to try and test it by asking
my friends to play them on their machine to see what effects there are. But
do any of you know anything about it?
