We do - the flex/x2 wars years ago proved it .
The majority sat on the fence and didnt buy a 56k modem until v90
appeared .
However in this particular case sony may have under estimated the bitter
resentment over the recent cd farce and some people will buy the
opposing dvd format just for badness .
Personally the words 'barge' and 'pole' spring to mind with regard to
blu ray .
