I've had this happen a few times and found that, with a couple of the discs,
CDex 1.51 could "see" the disc when nothing else could.
With the other one, I ended up recording it through my PC's "line in" using
Total Recorder, having found that my old CD Walkman could play it. (Probably
not the ideal solution for the golden-eared, but the best I could come up
with....)
