CHEERS: THE COMPLETE SIXTH SEASON (reviewed by David Johnson, overall
score 89/100):
"It's not hyperbole to reaffirm what the theme says about getting away
to places where everyone knows your name. The skill of the players, and
the setting itself, make Cheers one of the exceedingly accessible
sitcoms of all time."

COLUMBO: SEASON THREE (reviewed by Paul Corupe, overall score 93/100):
"Columbo is one of those rare TV shows that actually deserves its top-
notch reputation. Not only the highlight of the NBC Mystery Movie
series, but also one of the finest programs of its decade, Columbo
artfully combines all-around excellent performances with well-penned
scripts that shine the spotlight on Columbo's unique investigative
techniques and quirky personality."

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON (reviewed by Brett
Cullum, overall score 97/100):
"It defies any genre classification, because it can go from insanely
heavy drama to light farce in a heartbeat. In fact, he often follows the
Steel Magnolias rule: that laughter through tears is the best
weapon of a writer. It's amazing stuff. Every episode has a moment so
true and universal that you just sigh and nod."

EVIL DEAD 2: BOOK OF THE DEAD LIMITED EDITION (reviewed by Mac McEntire,
overall score 91/100):
"If you do not already own a copy of Evil Dead 2, then by all means pick
this one up today. But if you have the previous edition, then you'll
have to decide how important a prettier visual transfer and some cool
packaging are to you."

FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON: THE SIGNATURE EDITION (reviewed by Mike
Pinsky, overall score 95/100):
"From the Earth to the Moon is both inspired history and great
storytelling. I cannot imagine a child watching this and -- if not
actually being inspired to become an astronaut -- not at least gaining a
better appreciation for science, history, and America itself."

GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN, ALICE COOPER (reviewed by Dennis Prince, overall
score 97/100):
"Rescued from oblivion, Good to See You Again, Alice Cooper is presented
in a new high-definition transfer that looks much better than the blurry
and frequently incomplete bootleg tapes of the past."

HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER (reviewed by Patrick Naugle, overall
score 87/100):
"Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer is a movie of unbridled power -- it
is like a fascinating record of human depravity. I don't think there are
many people who will walk away from it feeling as if they just had a
great night out at the movies."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/henryportrait.php
NEW ORDER ITEM: A COLLECTION AND NEW ORDER STORY (reviewed by Brett
Cullum, overall score 96/100):
"The joy about having these clips preserved is that New Order has always
been committed to delivering artistic videos that compliment their songs
rather than overpower them. You won't see the band posturing or trying
to look pretty. You will get clever short films directed by people who
are out to raise the music video to an art form."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/neworderitem.php
RUMBLE FISH: SPECIAL EDITION (reviewed by Brett Cullum, overall
score 94/100):
"It's not a movie about action, but rather stagnation. It's a Greek
tragedy masquerading as a drama about juvenile delinquents. If that
doesn't sound appealing it's not the movie for you."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/rumblefishse.php
SIX FEET UNDER: THE COMPLETE FOURTH SEASON (reviewed by Patrick Naugle,
overall score 93/100):
"Six Feet Under works so well because it's a show about death with
glimpses of hope and life peeking through the pine box cracks. Although
horrible things happen to the Fisher family -- and the worst is yet to
come in the final fifth season -- you still care for these folks and
hope (that's the key word) that they find happiness."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/sixfeetunderseason4.php
STAR TREK: NEMESIS: COLLECTOR'S EDITION (reviewed by Eric Profancik,
overall score 85/100):
"Is it a bad thing for Trek to use successful elements from its
past to create a successful bridge to the future? While many
believe it's too blatant a rip-off of itself, I see Nemesis as a
successful reinterpretation and expansion of many of the ideas from
the second film."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/startrek10ce.php
TOY STORY: 10TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION (reviewed by Ryan Keefer, overall
score 100/100):
"The plot is pretty basic at the roots, a buddy film where the main
characters are separated and later reunited. But that discredits the
quality of the story which oh by the way, was nominated for an Oscar,
along with Randy Newman's score."
