Jona,
I sell things all the time online using ebay, it truly is as Richard said
worth what people are willing to pay for it.
Prices for items change dramatically in a weeks time, if a new cheaper,
better product comes out, everyone tries
to dump their old stuff on ebay quickly to buy the newer stuff themselves.
The first few get top dollar the rest get a lot less, cause of supply and
demand factor.
Ebay will give you access to the most buyers in the shortest period of time.
Better than say sticking it
in a store front window and letting it get cob webs while you wait for your
asking price.
You say you want $3500, I don't know what it's worth, usually used items are
half the price of NEW right off the bat, even in mint condition, then drop
down depending on demand and if newer and cheaper products have recently
entered the market.
My advice is separate the products! Richard had a link for a Mac with
software that sold for $1700 on his list, so sell your Mac and software
separate from the AJA IO completely.
This way it's easier to find two buyers, one only wanting a Mac, and another
who has a Mac only wanting the rest.
That is my advice.
:)
Like junk dealers they get more for car parts than a used car salesman would
get selling the whole car.
