Jona,
I was happy to try and help but sorry i didn't have prices for you.
About ebay, I can understand your fear, I started out small years ago and
totally relied on sellers
and buyers with *ONLY* positive feedback and never once had a bad experience
in over 10 years so far.
In the beginning many people only dealt with you if you had 10 positive
feedback rating or more, I used to regularly put
it in my description, saying "don't bother bidding if you have less than 10
positive feedback rating, or I'll cancel your bid" stuff like
that, lately i don't bother since ebay started asking people for credit card
info to join and it's gotten a little safer than the early days.
Big ticket items still do scare me however, so I understand your reluctance.
I think the most i would trust to sell on ebay would be
around a $1200-1500 item at a time, that's why I suggested breaking it up,
to have better odds of not getting ripped off by one large bad transaction.
People buy and sell cars, houses, and expensive jewelry on ebay. LOL That i
would do quite yet.
Stuff from my closet and gear i no longer need yes, but big ticket stuff you
should do in person, that's also how I feel.
Thanks for the reply and Good Luck,
AnthonyR.
