I recently got a manfroto for my dvx-100a and was increbibly dissapointed.
While panning, the arm on the head came right off in my hand. The entire
crew was quite shocked at this, being a 500+ head.
Took it to manfroto service deptment in Toronto. The claimed to have
examined it under a microscope and found no "bubbles or fractures" in
the lowest-bidder white metal it was make of
and denied my warrantee claim. Being in the music biz for 30yrs I've
learned how to deal with wankers like this and managed to get them to
grudgingly go half way. Still, it *was* a bona-fide warrantee issue.
Quite dissapointed by this level of customer service.....over a $40 part....
