Thanks for sharing the information.
I'm a little confused on the whole HD thing, since it seems pointless to do
any recording, editing, renderings in HD, because there still isn't any
media to burn it too yet that supports the HD resolutions. Even it there
was, its going to be quite some time before the masses have hardware that
can play the HD media [i.e. HD-DVD, Blu-Ray, etc.].
So, a lacking in media to support the resolution and hardware to play it
with just doesn't make any sense to me. 2-3 years from now makes more sense,
since HD hardware will be out beginning with the Xbox 360 from my
understanding. Feel free to correct me, help me out if I'm way off base
with any of this. I personally use Vegas 6.0c and it does support HD
resolutions, but as of yet, I've not used them because there is no HD
playback DVD players to play it on even if I could burn it to
HD-DVD's/Blu-Ray DVD's. I assume you could burn to SD-DVD, but doesn't that
mean its being downconverted to standard resolutions [720 or less]?
