Actually I think 10 has a lot of virtues but I also think the hardware
requirements, especially with the video cards to be a major problem
with it. I had a 9200se ATI video card on the computer that I tried
to install 10 Plus on and from reading and from personal experience
this version of the ATI card was noted as causing a lot of problems. I
upgraded to a 9550 ATI with 256 memory and I think in the near future
I will try 10 plus again and see what happens. Mabey the sound card
will have to upgraded also. Not sure at this stage. Before I do that
I will make sure I install the updated version of 9.4 plus on a second
computer also with a 9200 card and make sure it is working so as not
to interupt any video I want to produce. Pinnacle has not made it
very clear on just what the requirements of video and sound cards that
will not work. It may be that they really did not know since version
10 has not been out enough to know. Just wished they would have a
larger group or mabey even a group to beta the software rather the
retail users having to. I expect by the time 11 comes out 10 will be
rather stable.
