Video on Demand has nothing, I repeat nothing what so ever with the
DSL connection I have here.
For example, just one of my video on Demand services is:
"The Movie Network on Demand".

1 How do I get it?
The Movie Network OnDemand is available through Rogers Digital Cable.
You must be a digital subscriber of The Movie Network in order to get
The Movie Network OnDemand and live in the Rogers On Demand area*. If
you are not a Movie Network customer please visit the Order M page for
information on how to subscribe.
*For more info on Rogers On Demand areas contact Rogers Cable at 1 888
Rogers1 or click here
2 How do I use it?
a. Turn to channel 308.
b. Using the arrow keys located on your Rogers digital remote
control, select a category and press the select button.
c. Scroll through the movie selection using the arrow keys to
highlight your choice and press the select button.
d. Using the arrow keys, highlight Play on the right hand side
of the screen and press the select button.
e. After a few seconds, the movie will begin. Enjoy the show!
f. Use the buttons on the remote control to activate the pause,
rewind, fast-forward, stop and play controls. If your Rogers remote
control has a VCR/VOD button located at the bottom of the remote, make
sure that it is switched to VOD in order to activate the control
buttons
3 Is there an extra charge per movie?
No, there is no per movie charge. With The Movie Network OnDemand you
can watch over 70 movies and series at no extra cost. It is included
with your monthly subscription to The Movie Network.
If I have DSL.. Dial-up, it does not matter.
"You have a high speed network connection via your cable." Ah, that
be Bullshit.
"That's the most idiotic statement I've read on usenet this year."
Please do a little research before making yourself look stupid in the
newsgroup.
"Arguing with anonymous strangers on the Internet is a sucker's game
because they almost always turn out to be -- or to be indistinguishable from
-- self-righteous sixteen-year-olds possessing infinite amounts of free time."
