Thanks. I appreciate the responses.
I was referring to both used GL2's and used TRV-900's. There is quite
a difference in price. Seems like the TRV-900 may be the best bang for
the buck. That leaves me some $ to get an XLR adapter. Last time I
patched in to a sound board and went straight to the mic input, I ended
up with a nasty hum and distortion as the signal was too strong.
If $ was no object, I may have gone with the VX2000 or VX2100. The GL2
sounds like a beautiful camera but some of the tape transport problems
I've seen on-line make me shy away some, specially for such a high
ticket item.
