I have read the reviews and usually they mention that the Toshiba
RDXS34 DVD/HDD recorder has an IR emitter (i.e. IR Blaster) to change
the channel of the Cable/Freeview/Satellite box.
After reading the specs AND calling Toshiba AND calling the Toshiba
Spare Parts dept., they all tell me that there is no IR Blaster in the
box BUT there is a connection on the back for one.
If there is an IR blaster, then Toshiba has themselves a sale, if
not....
Can anyone who owns an RDXS34 confirm or deny the presence of this
phantom IR Blaster?
If there isn't one in the box, has anyone managed to setup a third
party one?
