Its quite possible with that flag that the OP might need to use a DVD-R or
or +R using the VR mode or use a DVD-RW or DVD+RW that supports CPMR.
Sometimes using the right disk and the correct mode on these burners allow one
to record the protected signal if its encoded with the COPY ONCE flag..
