Yes, that should be my address. (I have ways of dealing with
unwanted traffic.)
I'll assume that the rest of the "Select Stream" info is that
the AC3 is x80. If it's not let us know, otherwise I don't
need to see that window. But the "Video Program
Information" window could contain a hint to why this file
is causing you the problems you mention.
You say you can play the clip in VideoReDo, before
you use it in MF4; is there anything unusual about the
frames where you later see a problem? Any changes
in the GOP structure?
I'm no expert on MF4, I use TDA to make my DVDs.
There are a number of differences between the MPEG
standards and the DVD standards, as relates to what
can be viable video. Some of these differences have an
effect on whether any resulting DVD is playable or not.
Or plays correctly. Or can even be authored using any
particular authoring program.
In other words you can have MPEG that appears to be
Compatible, by all the normally referenced requirements,
and still have a minor parameter that is unacceptable to a
particular player or authoring program.
I have to agree with Cathy, though, a great many of us
have found VideoReDo to be remarkably dependable,
and haven't encountered the problems you associate with
it. While I much prefer TDA, many seem to find MF4 to
be a useful program, and again are not reporting the kind
of problems you are having.
Luck;
Ken
