The ILO DVDR05 is the same as the CH 1600.

Don't confuse this unit with the older DVDR04 which was made by
LiteOn.

What other things? I would like to know what bugs there are in the ILO
DVDR05.
If you have the ZU unit you need to exchange it for the MU unit or the
newer MU1 unit, the latter presumably on W-M shelves now. And be sure
to upgrade to the latest firmware.

You are talking about the ZU unit and about old firmware. Before I
exchanged my ZU for an MU, I upgraded the firmware to the latest
version and the problem you describe went away
I now have the ILO DVDR05MU and it works for all resolution modes.
You need to return your unit and get the latest hardware MU1.
