 I'm sorry your camera isn't modern and full featured.  Kodak makes several
 digital cameras with RAW format support...maybe more, but I don't have
 time to check every model.

 I can store 26 RAW images (3008x2000 pixels) from my camera on a measly
 256MB card...that's over 200 on a 2GB card.  Of course, I can fit 325 of
 the "Extra Fine" JPEGs on that same card, and the quality is quite good at
 less than 2:1 compression.
 
 If your camera had a RAW mode, you could store 75-80 pictures on a 256MB
 card...that's a lot more than 10.
