Er, no Doc, rhe question was about digital8 cameras. The newer cheapo
models do not convert to digital, but many mofels do. I have a Sony
models TRV103 and TRV360 and the cameras *certainly will do analog to
digital conversion.* Works with both 8mm and hi-8 recorded tapes.
Converts to digital as it plays and ouyputs the result via the firewire
port. The 350 has an added advantade in that it works as a pass-thru,
play an analog signal into S-video or RCA and out the firewire port
comes digital data.
