I have a TRV730 which has died (way too soon IMO). I'd like to get the
Digital8 recordings onto DVD. What would be a suitable camcorder to do
the transfers? Or, would it be worth trying to get the 730 repaired
(banding on the screen on playback) or is it possible to rent a Digital8
 cam?
