I have had this for about a year and recorded a grand total of 4 DVD's. I
went to burn the 5th and I got an error saying that it didn't recognise the
media. I later used the exact DVD in another box successfully. So there
is something amiss with my burner. In my troubleshooting I attempted to
update the firmware and this failed as well. I am running XP Home. I
wonder if a patch or update has caused this problem.
Has anyone had a similar experience or have any advice. I am on the brink
of doing a fresh install of the OS so see if this will clear it up.
