Also make sure if your TV is a older TV and you VCR does not have AUDIO
left and right imputs to make sure you are connected the audio L side
only (usually colored whitw on the cable) that way it will be a mono
signal...if you connted the ither one and do not have a stereo TV this
couls br why you not getting sound and only a pic.
